I am Sushil Humagain, an aspiring microbiologist and a scientific blogger. I have completed my Masters in Medical Microbiology from St. Xavier’s College, Kathmandu. I have been working as an author and editor on the educational website Onlinesciencenotes.com since 2017. Similarly, I have recently joined the Microbenotes.com team as an author/content creator. Currently, I am working as a Science tutor/ teacher in one of the reputed schools of Nepal, GEMS located in Dhapakhel.
My primary interest is in research that involves virology and immunology. Apart from that, I am also interested in the study of antimicrobial resistance developing in bacterial populations in recent years. The molecular analysis of drug-resistant genes and their transfer among bacteria attracts and fascinates me to do research in clinical bacteriology as well.
Talking about my hobbies, I love traveling and exploring new places. I am fond of playing outdoor games like football and cricket. Watching movies, listening to songs, and singing(sometimes) are what I adore doing whenever I get time off from research and blogging.
